I DIDN'T DO IT

‘I didn’t do it….. Raajuuu’. This is the most Hilarious thing I ever Witnessed.

3 idiots was a Film that made me laugh till I Literally fell of my Chair (an embarrassing story for another time). However, it also got me Thinking. This really does Happen to us and sometimes It’s true. Ok Just take a second and Think how many times have you Sweared and Pleaded you didn’t do something and no one Believed you.

For me, this is the Story of my Life. Now I can assure all of you that I am not a Liar. No, I always Prefer the Truth. But I don’t know why People don’t Believe me.

I remember one Morning when I was small maybe 6 or 7 my Dad could not find his Watch. The whole House was being searched Beddings overturned Wardrobes scattered the whole Shebang. I sit in a Chair enjoying my Parents Misery (like the little Sadist I was) when suddenly my Dad turned to me.

“Do you know where my Watch is” he rumbled

I swear I didn’t know where his Watch was. But in that situation when you are being Grilled by your Father at 8 in the morning a Boy gets Nervous. Now it must be said that I am a Freak. You all may Argue but I am. I have certain Wrong Responses in some Important situations.

So when he asked me I could have simply Denied or told him the Truth. But no I gave him a small Smirk. Yes, Guys a freaking Sinister Severus Snape catching Harry out of bounds after Hours Smirk. And then I didn’t stop at this. I started Snickering like the little bastard I was.

My Dad was totally Enraged. He was about to start Yelling at me when my Angelic Mum came to my rescue with a chilled Watch in hand.

Yes, she found the Watch in the Refrigerator. Later on further Investigation, it was Discovered that my Dad had put the Watch in the last night when he opened the Fridge for water. I love my Mum; she saved me from what I can tell was a Serious Beating that day. Phew…

This, however, was not the only time I was not Believed when I said: “I didn’t do it”.

Now not to Brag (maybe just a little) I have always been a Good student. Getting good Grades standing out all that. So in class 5, I was selected to be Monitor. I must tell you I was at a Boarding school at Darjeeling then and being a monitor of the Primary Wing there puts you in the same League as a Prefect.

So I was given the duty to oversee Class 2 students during their Self-study hour in the Evening. This hour was completely Teacher free Time from 5pm to 6pm.

So maybe after a Week of becoming Monitor, I was sitting in my Regular class one morning when the Headteacher of the wing walked into my class. She had a Murderous look in her eyes (she was pretty scary as is). She just Grabbed my Collar and Dragged me out of the class. I was in Shock. I didn’t know what was Happening. She took me to her Office followed by my Class Teacher Mr Peters (bless him).
There I came to know that a student from my Class 2 Had been Hurt. I don’t know how. And he had Blamed it on me Kicking him. Now just Imagine my Shock and Terror (I was in class 5 myself). The boy told a Stellar Story with an Oscar-Worthy Performance. When he was finished the blaming started. The Head was ANGRY. She Threatened me to the Moon. Bringing out all her guns from Rustication to Parents call.

I was nearly in Tears myself as I continuously pleaded that ‘I didn’t do it’

Now I don’t know how but Mr Peters convinced her that I was innocent. Yes, I was Punished but that was only Clearing every one's plate of the Table after each Meal for a Month. He also convinced her to not take away my Monitor Badge. So after a month of Gruesome labour and a Regular Stink eye from the Head I was let off.

I still don’t know what happened and why the Boy accused me. But I can promise I never did anything to him. I love children Always have and Always will. I never had the Courage to ask him the reason before I changed Schools the next year. But this still kind of Haunts me sometimes.

So that’s all for today. I know I went on a Depressing road in the end. But I would Love to know if any of you have faced similar situations. And if yes what are those. So please Comment and Keep living and Enjoy.
