Within 20minutes, 15 well-armed men came inside the police station. The men were licensed bodyguards. After confirming that they were sent by Ruhm, Ritesh was sent home, under their guard.
On the other hand, Ruhm searched for the website. The admin was smart enough to make his IP address untraceable but too stupid to reply to Ritesh. For Ruhm, hacking through the website was never a big deal. As it says, the security comes with vulnerability. One thing she knew for sure, the admin wasn’t alone, and he has many acquaintances across the world. She almost travelled to every country and did conferences with many hackers. But a sadist hacker? She could think of such names. After many attempts, she could finally trace the admin using his last message to Ritesh. The place was Kolkata.

Ruhm, being the head of all the other hackers in India, was shocked to know that people working under him were doing crimes. That too in her own city. It didn’t take her long to find out the people behind this.

Another man was waiting for getting slaughtered when suddenly the murder got a message on his phone. Being irritated for getting his work delayed, he took out his phone and read the message:

“YOU ARE FOUND. STOP YOUR DEEDS. THE NEXT AND LAST VIDEO THAT WOULD BE GETTING UPLOADED ON YOUR WEBSITE WILL BE YOURS “

The message somehow gave chills down his spine, but his overconfidence took its place, and he was about to give a reply when his phone screen went black. Letter in white started printing on the screen.

“YOU GAVE HIM TIME TILL THE DAWN, I’M GIVING YOU ONE HOUR, RUN TILL YOUR LEGS GET WEARY, BECAUSE AS THIS ONE HOUR ENDS, YOU WITH YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE DEAD. CATCHING YOU IS FUN INSPECTOR ROY.”

The words, made him shiver in fear. The kidnapped man was left tied in the chair, as the inspector along with his ten men started to run.

For Ritesh, every second was making him shiver. The ACP was also very unsure whether his daughter could accomplish her job. He had always been against hacking, and when his beloved daughter got herself into this stuff, he was beyond angry. His daughter always wanted to convince him, that only an ethical hacker can catch the unethical one. But in his eyes, she was a criminal. A hacker. But today, for the first time, all his hopes were on her. He thought of calling her, but on second thought, he decided to wait.

It was almost dawn, and there was no call from Ruhm. Mr Banerjee thought, maybe Ruhm failed. And out of shame, she hasn’t called him yet. Just as the morning ray broke through the darkness, his phone rang.

“ACP Banerjee, Mr Ritesh is now safe. This task has accomplished well.”

“And the criminals behind this?”

“They are well taken care of. The situation is under control.”

“But you can’t take law in your hands!”, the ACP shout in anger.

“If we can take this case in our hands, then we can do that as well. There is no proof against us”, Ruhm said with a smirk and disconnected the call.

Somewhere in his heart, he felt a sudden pride for his daughter. He wanted to reach for his princess and give her all the love, she deserved. Finally, the ice around his heart was melting. He decided he would go and meet his daughter in person and bring her back. Now he knew that the country needed her. Hackers are not always the bad ones.

He hurried his way out from his chamber, only to find that Inspector Roy hasn’t yet returned from his important work.

“The Inspector really needs a transfer”, he thought to himself and got into his car.
