Love is in the air

Well Valentine's week is ringing bells and  Cupid must have shot quite a few of us with his enchanting arrow of love.....and it's time to ask ourselves owing to the trend of the season that is we in love?
Most of my readers must be in the age group when we feel love as the passionate feeling we have towards our beloved of opposite gender......this Valentine's week sort of divides us into groups.. the singles who are either moaning or taking another chance to get their someone special...the ones in a relation are planning hard to spend this week in the most special way with their beloved....the ones who have just had pinching heartbreaks with a still aching heart
Well here are  tips for each one of you to get your Valentine's week going right

SINGLES:  I know you are feeling left out and all the beautiful couples around you are grabbing your attention...but if you read the following I am sure you would not feel miserable any more
1. Learn to be alone...enjoy your own company
2. Don't let your loneliness drive you to end up choosing someone not meant for you
3. Having a counterpart does not in any aspect define your capabilities....it makes you no smarter and even not having some mate will make you no less than others...don't allow yourself to believe that existence of love affairs is indicative of your smartness quotient
4. Engage yourself with productive activities...so that you have less time to moan.....take up creative deals and fulfil your wishes
5. Surround yourself with positive people who instead of demeaning you...will impart positive vibes to keep you happy and cheerful...
Lastly, remember that getting someone faster is not the goal...getting someone who would stay long is the ultimate objective...☺

COMMITTED: If you are already in an existing relationship then here are a few words to keep in mind to make your relationship last longer
1. Something that is easily available is hard to keep...same rule applies here..having a smooth hurdle free relationship will not put both of you to test and hence is never indicative of long-lasting relation.
2. Learn to respect the views of your counterpart...usually in a relation one of the partners become more dominant and hence does not pay heed to the other persons view..avoid this...try to be a good listener...listen to what the other person has to say...listening does not means agreeing...once both of you have shared your individual views..try to make out a middle way so as not to offend either...
3. Take responsibilities...being in a relationship is just not about chatting and watching movies and dining and hanging out...develop your attitude such that you are dependable and trustworthy...being the support in most difficult of times..strengthens your relation
4. Relationships are living things and hence require time, care, effort and constant nurture.....even if both of you are busy...each day take out some time to at least communicate about how the day was...show some effort to make the other person feel special....communication is very important..often grudges pile up and are very difficult to mend.. remember that stains are easy to be cleaned when fresh..old stains are difficult to remove
5. Have the attitude of holding on...you can have fights quarrels but have the attitude of holding on...never go to sleep without sorting things up and hold hands even in darkest of time because easy times does not determine how strong your bond is...it is the difficulties that does
6. Never cheat...remember it is a choice and not a mistake nobody is a perfect..slightest imperfection in your partner should never elicit either within you the thought of finding someone new...learn to accept your partner the way they are and love unconditionally

POST BREAK UP: If you have just had a breakup..here are few words of use
1. Make up your mind about what actually you want to do...whether you want to move on or you want to give another try...once you have chosen ....stick to your decision...never choose the in-between path.
2. You must make.
